Nothing interesting to report on the job front, which is why there have been no posts in the last six months; but now there remains less to worry, thus posting begins anew.
Snow… January 13, 2008
comes soon. Time to be ready. I’ll have more posts tomorrow.
01/23/2007 Update: No real percipitation; it was a media-fueled panick. More to see here; so move along.
You’ve heard of sunglasses at night, but… January 9, 2008
today I had flip-flops on this winter. It was 64 degrees F today with a light breeze and the sun was shining. And this weather was just the stuff in Eastchester, New York. Global Warming? Maybe, I’ll share with you one tidbit; in 1999, the Chinese Communists (I’m sorry, socialists with “Chinese characteristics” I was told) held a convention in Beijing. What is so special about that? The city formerly called Peking/Peiping is perpetually covered in clouds. Sometime the sun barely shines through the smog. But for that one convention–so was I told–all cars were banned from use for a week. And you know what happened? They had blue skies.
